Making Zomorod is one of my favourite art journeys.
I worked on the geometry, design, and colors for a long time and I tried to have as many details as possible inside it.
In Tazhib everything is based on symmetry and harmony. I tried so hard to have these.

This is the happiness in life. When you have pleasant sunny days and your eyes see just beautiful aspects of life.
I used gouache and watercolors on paper.
In Persian traditional art, the sun is the symbol of long associated with divine glory, sustenance of life, and enthusiasm.
It gives life to all of the beautiful creatures.
All of the used colors in Tazhib are meaningful. The dark blue is the symbol of the sky and spirituality.
The gold is the symbol of brightness and the black is the sum of all of the colors.
I made this exactly same as the original one which refers to the Il-Khanid dynasty. The materials are all handmade such as natural colors(mineral, herbal and insects) handmade paper and 24 karat gold. With this project which took about 6 months of hard work I learnt a lot about traditional ways of making art and the history of My country.
I am so in love with the artworks from this historic time because all of the artworks are full of beautiful and complex geometry.
As humans, we do not know about before and after a period of our life period. So in the middle of these 2, we need to live all aspects of ourselves.
I used curved geometric patterns in this art because in Islamic art Circle is the symbol of integrity and divinity.
What is life? We all have darkness and brightness and if we add balance and patience the gold will shine.
This is a corrected and changed version of one paper of the Oljayto Quran.
This is a teaching project. In an artistic gathering with my 2 nieces, I just taught them some basics of Persian colors and geometry and we had done a project together.
The point of view of young children is always interesting to me.
I learnt to use gold on Tazhib with this artwork. I just wanted to learn and the result was satisfying. So I saved it as a sample of early days of learning Tazhib.
In my journey of learning the history of Tazhib, I tried to make some good small samples from each historical period.
The colors and motifs and the whole artworks have the quality of the Ilkhani era.
